Insurance veteran, David Pickel, opens a Brightway Insurance Agency in Broken Arrow, Okla.

BROKEN ARROW, OKLA. — Residents in Broken Arrow and Tulsa, Okla., soon will experience a better way to buy insurance for their homes, valuables, vehicles and more. Insurance veteran and now Brightway Insurance Agency Owner, David Pickel, will open Brightway, The David Pickel Agency Monday, Aug. 13, in Broken Arrow.

“With 20 years’ industry experience, I’m embracing the opportunity to open my own business in Broken Arrow and look forward to bringing a level of expert counsel to my friends and neighbors.” said Pickel. “As a Brightway Agent, I’m able to offer dozens of insurance brands to best fit each customer's needs while protecting what is most valuable to them.”

Pickel is a native of Oklahoma coming to Brightway having 20 years of insurance experience with State Farm where he worked in underwriting, analytics and market research. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Okla. Pickel and wife, JoAnn, of 24 years, have two children and are members of the Northside Christian Church in Broken Arrow. He is a long-time volunteer of the operations team supporting The Pride of Broken Arrow Marching Band. He also enjoys sporting events, motor sports and relaxing with his family.
