Williams holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from California Baptist University and a master's degree in higher education from Dakota Wesleyan University, where she was also a graduate assistant for the school's golf team teams. An NAIA All-American golfer, she helped her team place third in the national tournament and played basketball for the school.

Outside of work, Williams is passionate about health and fitness and enjoys spending time with and spoiling her three rescue dogs, Gracie, Roise, and Sydney. She also founded a non-profit organization called JasperJo Co, named after her beloved dog, Jasper. The organization’s mission is to provide education and financial support to holistic and integrative dog owners—a cause that holds deep personal significance for Williams.
