Federico Bocca opens a Brightway Insurance Agency in downtown Miami

MIAMI — More residents in Miami soon will experience a better way to buy insurance for their homes, condos, valuables, vehicles and more. Veteran business man and now Brightway Insurance Agency Owner, Federico Bocca, will open Brightway, The F. Bocca Agency Monday, Aug. 13, in downtown Miami.

Originally from Ecuador, Bocca moved to the United States in 2017. In 2012, he started his own company, Summaratings Credit Rating, which focuses on risk management and credit rating for clients in Ecuador. Prior to that, he spent 10 years as the Chief Financial Officer of a public university in Ecuador, where he also taught Finance and Economics at the graduate and undergraduate levels for many years.

A life-long learner, Bocca earned a Doctorate in Finance from Tulane University in New Orleans, La., an Executive Master of Business Administration from IDE Business School in Ecuador, a Magister degree in Economy from Catholic University of Chile in Chile and a bachelor’s degree in Economy from Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral in Ecuador, which is where he later taught and served as CFO.

Bocca is a member of the American Finance Association and American Economic Association. He speaks English and Spanish and as a Brightway Agency Owner, he looks forward to becoming a source of trust for friends and neighbors seeking expert counsel and more choice.
