John joined Brightway, The Mays Agency in August of 2023. A resident of Scott Depot, he is dedicated to helping clients get the right coverage that protects what they care about most. Prior to joining Brightway, John was an apologist with Ratio Christi.
John is married to Sherri, his boss at the office, and has four children ranging in age from 34 to 11. John is also a veteran spending 12 years in the Air Force as both an Air Traffic Controller and Recruiter. He holds three graduate degrees from Liberty and Biola universities.
Sherri Mays joined Brightway, The Mays Agency, in 2023. A resident of Scott Depot, she is grateful to have found a career that allows her to help the people of her community by protecting their most valuable assets. Prior to joining Brightway, Sherri was a school teacher for Kanawha County Schools.
She is a graduate of Liberty University graduating cum laude with a bachelor’s degree. Sherri and her husband, John, have four children: Keili, Haley, Ava, and Zander. They also have three grandchildren. Sherri and John enjoy watching their kids participate in sports and watching college football.
In her free time, Sherri loves spending time at the beach and with her family and is happiest when she is with them. Sherri and John look forward to building a legacy with Brightway to pass down to their children one day.
