A Raleigh resident of over 20 years, Amy graduated with a bachelor's degree in business and spent several years in corporate sales with AT&T before she came home to be a full-time mother. She and her husband of 28 years, Walt, have four children together. Prior to moving to Raleigh, Amy lived in Illinois and in Venezuela, where she became a fluent Spanish speaker.
