Scot is a licensed insurance agent and is appointed to write in North Carolina and South Carolina. He has lived in Gaston County for 20 years and North Carolina for over 30 years. His experience as a Coastal, Central, and Western North Carolina resident has equipped him with the knowledge of regional factors across the state needed to help with your insurance needs. As a Brightway agent, he’s excited to be offering more choice and expert counsel to his neighbors in North Carolina.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree from UNC Wilmington, and has earned the professional designations Associate in Claims, and Associate in Insurance Services. He has over 20 years of combined claims and agency experience, and has worked for several well-known insurance carriers.

In his spare time, Scot enjoys the outdoors and spending time with family. He also enjoys cooking and likes sourcing his ingredients from local businesses. He gives back to his community as a student mentor for Gaston County Schools, and has coached youth sports. He also has served as a Committee Chair and leader for the Boy Scouts of America and as a Regional Chair with United Way for 30 years.
